Tet am trao em Son La
On January 29, 2024, Starfish Vietnam club, together with Starfish - Room for Education, Club 0.7%, and the Aristino brand, organized the inauguration ceremony for the Pa Ca school's boarding kitchen, part of Pu Bau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, located in Pu Bau commune, Song Ma district, Son La province.
The program was a great success with meaningful activities such as:
● Presenting gifts to 250 students of Pu Bau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, located in Pu Bau commune, Song Ma district, Son La province.
● Awarding scholarships to 20 students in difficult circumstances in Pu Bau commune.
● Inaugurating a 15-square-meter kitchen, a 65-square-meter dining room for students, and providing kitchen equipment for the Pa Ca school.
● Cooking meals for the students at Pu Bau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Pu Bau commune, Song Ma district, Son La province.
● Organizing a free clothing market for the residents of Pu Bau commune.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hans-Peter Glanzer, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Vietnam; Mr. Nguyễn Văn May, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Sơn La province; Mr. Lò Văn Sinh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Sông Mã district; local authorities, residents, teachers, and students of Pú Bẩu commune.
Starfish Vietnam Club hopes that the boarding kitchen project will create a neat and clean living environment, thereby contributing positively to improving the quality of life and learning for children in the highlands.
